Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-25
These terms are the agreement between you and Better Life With Apps (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Kutla app and this website. They apply alongside the terms of the store you got the app from. By using Kutla you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What Kutla does
Kutla keeps the special days of your country on one calendar and makes a post for each of them: an AI-drawn scene with your own photo and name, or your business logo, colours and contact line, placed on it.
You choose whether your posts are for yourself or for a business. For yourself, you can add a photo of you, your child or your family and the name you want on the post; for a business, its logo, name, sector, brand colours and a contact line. When you open a day, an AI image model draws a scene for it, with no text, flags or logos in it, and the app places the headline, your name or logo, the contact line and the flag on top of it on your device. The app also writes three captions for the post. Your photos, logo and the posts you made are kept on your device; the Privacy Policy explains what leaves it.
The calendar lists special days for the country you choose. Each day shows the source its date comes from; for Türkiye, religious days follow the calendar of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı). Religious and some other dates are set by the authorities that announce them and can change; we update the calendar when they do, but check the date before you post.
2. Your account
The app creates an account for you the first time you open it. There is no sign-up form, and we do not ask for your email address. The account is tied to your device: reinstalling the app on the same device normally brings the same account back, while a new device usually starts a new, empty account. On a new device, Restore purchases reconnects the purchases made with your store account. Your photos, logo and posts do not move with it, because we do not keep a copy.
Kutla is not meant for children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can make a contract where you live, use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Your data → Delete my data, or by email as described on the deletion page. Deletion cannot be undone: it ends any credits left in the account, stops your reminders and clears what the app keeps on your device. It does not cancel a subscription; cancel that with the store (section 5).
3. AI processing by OpenAI
To make a post, we send your choices for it to OpenAI, which generates the scene and the captions on our instructions: the day and the country, the style, and, for yourself, the name for the captions and, when you choose to put the people in your photo into the scene, that photo; for a business, its sector, brand colours and name for the captions. The logo-mark tool sends the sector, the brand colours and the mark style you pick. Your logo and contact line are never sent. Before anything is sent, the app asks for your permission and names OpenAI; nothing goes to OpenAI and nothing is generated until you allow it. You can withdraw that permission at any time under Settings → Privacy → AI processing, and the app then makes no new posts until you allow it again.
The Privacy Policy explains what OpenAI receives, how long it keeps it, and what we store ourselves. OpenAI’s own rules also apply to what you send (section 10).
4. Before you buy
You can try Kutla with your own photo or brand before you buy anything.
- A new account may come with a small free allowance of credits for this. It covers a limited number of posts over the whole life of the account; it is not renewed each day or month.
- Posts made without a plan carry a small “Made with Kutla” signature. With a plan the signature is left off.
- Once the allowance is used up, further posts need a plan.
5. Plans and payment
- Kutla sells three subscriptions: a weekly plan for personal posts, and a monthly and a yearly plan for businesses. All three renew automatically until you cancel. There is no free trial. While you have an active plan you can also buy one-time credit top-ups (section 6).
- You buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment under its own terms; we never see or hold your payment details. Prices are set per country and shown in your local currency.
- Before you buy, the purchase screen shows the plan’s price, its billing period, the credits it gives, that it renews until you cancel, and how to cancel.
- A plan gives you credits for each period (section 6) and posts without the “Made with Kutla” signature.
- You cancel with the store, not with us. On iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan and its credits stay until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Switching plans. On the App Store, a switch to another plan starts when your current period ends, and the new plan’s credits arrive then. On Google Play, the new plan starts at once and its first payment is pushed back by the time left on your current plan. Either way, credits left from the old plan do not carry over.
6. Credits
Posts are paid for with credits.
- Price of a post. The app shows how many credits a post costs before you start it. We may change the price of future posts, for example when we switch to a different image model. A post you have already started keeps the price it had when you started it.
- You pay only for what is delivered. A post’s credits go back to your balance if the image model fails or times out, if OpenAI refuses or blocks the request, if the post cannot be completed for any other reason, or if you cancel it before it finishes. One exception: plan credits that come back after their week or month has ended expire, as they would have anyway.
- A delivered post is paid for. A delivered scene costs its credits even if you do not like it, and reporting it in the app does not return them. If a post is faulty, contact us. Your legal rights for faulty digital content are not affected.
- Plan credits are given for each billing period. The weekly plan gives its credits for the week and the monthly plan for the month. The yearly plan releases its credits month by month: each month’s credits can be used only in that month, and there is a limit on how many plan credits you can use in one week. The purchase screen shows these amounts. Unused plan credits expire at the end of their week or month and do not carry over. A renewal replaces them; it does not add to them.
- Top-up credits are a one-time purchase, offered only while you have an active plan. They do not expire, and you can keep using them after your plan ends. When you start a post, plan credits are used before top-up credits.
- Other credits, such as the free allowance a new account may come with (section 4), do not expire.
- What credits are not. Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or given to someone else. They belong to your account in the app. If the store moves your purchases to another account of yours, for example when you restore purchases on a new device, your balance moves with them.
7. Refunds
- Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies. Ask for one through the store you paid. We cannot refund you directly, because the store, not us, took your payment.
- If the store refunds a purchase, we remove the credits that purchase gave you, including credits you have already used, and a refunded yearly plan releases no further monthly credits. Your balance can go below zero, and while it does you cannot start new posts. If the store reverses the refund, the credits come back.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, the law may give you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or a digital service within 14 days. You buy from the store, so you exercise that right through the store, under its terms and the law where you live. These terms do not ask you to give up any right of withdrawal the law gives you.
A post is supplied the moment it is delivered. Under Turkish law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services performed instantly online or to intangible goods delivered instantly (Distance Contracts Regulation, Art. 15(1)(ğ)); a delivered post is one of these.
9. AI-generated scenes and captions
Scenes are drawn by an AI image model and captions are written by an AI language model. The same choices can give different results each time. When you use a photo, the model is told to keep the people in it as they are and to add no one, but it does not always manage.
Scenes are drawn by an AI image model and can come out differently each time; the people in your photo may not look exactly like themselves. Check the post, its headline, date and caption before you share it, and make sure everyone in the photo is happy for it to be posted.
You decide what you post and where. Before a business post goes out, check that the name, the contact line and any offer on it are right, and that the post meets the rules of the platform you publish on and your local advertising law. What we promise about posts is set out in section 14.
10. Acceptable use
Kutla is for making posts for special days about yourself, your family or a business you are entitled to represent. You must not:
- upload a photo of anyone without their agreement, or a photo of a child unless you are their parent or guardian or have that person’s agreement;
- use a logo, brand or business name you are not entitled to use, or make a post that pretends to come from someone else;
- upload or generate nude or sexual content, content that sexualises anyone, and in particular anything that sexualises a child, or content that is violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise illegal;
- use a post to insult a nation, a religion, a community or a person, or to make it look as if a real person said or endorsed something;
- try to get around the app’s limits and checks or the image model’s safety systems;
- attack or overload the service, access it other than through the app, or copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
OpenAI’s usage policies apply to everything sent through the app, and OpenAI may block a request. A blocked request costs no credits (section 6). We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, or where the law requires it.
11. Your photos, logo and posts
You keep the rights you have in the photos, the logo and the details you add. You allow us to use what is sent for a post only to run the service for you: to receive it, to send it to OpenAI so the scene and captions can be made, and to hold the photo and the scene for the time set out in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when they are deleted from our systems, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
We claim no ownership of the scenes, captions and posts made for you. Any rights we hold in them we transfer to you, and you may use them for personal or business purposes within these terms. Whether AI-generated content is protected by copyright depends on the law where you are, and other users may get similar scenes and captions, so we cannot promise that you hold exclusive rights in them.
Your posts live on your device. We delete the photo and the scene from our servers 30 days after the post was started, and we never hold your logo, your contact line or the finished posts. If you uninstall the app, clear its data, delete your account or move to a new phone, what the app kept on the device is gone and we cannot restore it. Save or share what you want to keep.
12. The app and its content
The app, including its software, design, name, calendar, headlines and example images, belongs to Better Life With Apps or its licensors. Nothing in these terms lets you copy, sell or reuse the app, its name or its branding. The national flags the app places on posts are official symbols; use them respectfully and as the law of their country allows.
If you got the app from the App Store, your licence to use it is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms apply. These terms add the rules for the service, credits and posts. If they conflict with Apple’s agreement about the licence itself, Apple’s agreement prevails. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content or its support; we are.
13. Availability and limits
We work to keep Kutla running, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, that every post will succeed, or that a reminder will arrive: notifications are delivered by Apple and Google and depend on your device settings. A post that fails costs no credits (section 6).
We may pause parts of the service, such as photo uploads or new posts, for safety, legal or technical reasons. We also limit how many posts you can make in a period and how many can run at the same time, so the service stays available to everyone. These limits apply with a plan too; no plan is unlimited. A post stopped by such a limit costs nothing.
We may change the app, including its days, styles and image model. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan gives you, you can cancel the plan with the store, and your legal rights also apply. If we decide to stop offering the app, we will announce it on this website in advance.
14. What we promise
We provide Kutla with reasonable care and skill, as described in these terms and on the purchase screen. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights when digital content or a digital service is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms limits them.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the app, the calendar, the scenes and the captions are provided “as is”. We make no other promise, express or implied, that a scene will show the people in your photo exactly as they are, that a caption will suit your purpose, that a post will be accepted by a platform, be unique to you, or be free of other people’s rights.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen, for loss caused by publishing a post you did not check, for a reminder that did not arrive, or for photos, logos and posts lost with a device or an installation, since we keep no copy of them;
- if you use the app for business, we are not liable for lost profit, revenue, business or opportunity, and our total liability for all claims relating to Kutla is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.
16. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Kutla at any time. To end a subscription, cancel it with the store (section 5); to close your account, delete it (section 2).
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the app. Where we can, we will tell you why. If we end your access for a reason that is not your fault, you keep any right the law gives you to a refund for paid credits or plan time you could not use.
Sections 7, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17, and the part of section 6 that explains what credits are not, continue to apply after the agreement ends.
17. Disputes and your consumer rights
If something goes wrong, write to us first at support@blwapps.com; most problems are quickest to fix that way. Doing so does not stop you from going to a court or a consumer body.
If you use Kutla as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
Consumers in Türkiye can apply to the consumer arbitration committee (tüketici hakem heyeti) where they live or where the purchase was made for disputes below the amount set each year, and to the consumer court (tüketici mahkemesi) for larger disputes, after the mediation the law requires.
18. Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the app, the law or the store rules change. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. We announce changes that materially affect you on this page before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription before the change applies to you. A change never takes away rights you have by law.
If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to that use.
